Stockpiling for Christmas, the Covid-19 pandemic and to avoid the January disruption from new post-Brexit customs arrangements have led to shortages of warehouse space, according to storage and distribution businesses.
Concerns about importing goods from Britain after the UK’s departure from EU trade rules from the start of next year have forced businesses to hoard goods in contingency planning.
