KABUL (Pajhwok): A high-level delegation, led by Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, arrived in Kabul on Sunday for talks with Afghan officials.
Pakistan’s Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan tweeted “Muhammad Sadiq, Pakistan’s special representative on Afghan reconciliation, arrived in Kabul this morning for discussions with Afghan officials on peace.”
During his visit, Sadiq would also discuss security and related matters with his interlocutors in Kabul, the ambassador wrote, giving no further details.
Earlier in the month, the visit of Pakistan’s National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar and the delegation accompanying him was cancelled at the eleventh hour for security reasons.
