Virginia has began administering COVID-19 vaccinations to teachers, grocery store workers and additional first responders.
Doctor Cynthia Murrow, director of the Roanoke City and Allegheny Health Districts, was on C-B-S News yesterday.
The Lord Fairfax Health District, which includes both Shenandoah and Page Counties, is also participating in this particular vaccine administration while the Central Shenandoah Health District is not.
According to numbers from the Virginia Department of Health, 1,740 doses of the vaccine have been administered in Rockingham County while 1,178 doses have been administered in Augusta County, 1,031 in Shenandoah County, 862 in the city of Harrisonburg, 830 in Staunton, 733 in Waynesboro and 326 in Page County.
