Covid-19 vaccinations are starting to make an impact and numbers are slowly moving downwards in the US for cases and deaths.
But today the dip of virus cases met the grim reality of a pandemic gone viral, with 500,000 American deaths.
500,000 American deaths due to Covid-19 is more than all the soldiers killed in World War II.
Half a million Pandemic deaths have hit families from all walks of life, each changed forever in its own unique tragedy.
Across the nation, grief swells like a festered wound as people who did not have a wake, funeral, or other kinds of memorials fight to deal with tragedy without closure.

1. Laughing is Medicine: A Comic s Tale
Comedian Doug Benson created the 2007 hit Super High Me, a film delving into the evolution of cannabis laws and the comic s experiment with getting high. As Benson explains, most people believe getting high from cannabis is dangerous, but in his opinion, they re wrong.

The data shows that the two approved vaccines are greater than 94 percent effective with minimal known side effects. We urge our communities of color, who already struggle with many underlying health conditions that put us at a much higher risk for COVID-19, to listen, understand and act on the science showing that these vaccines are safe.
