All of this factored into the founding of PIK2AR in 2015 to help combat violence, create an economic impact and preserve culture in Utah’s NHPI communities. Years later, after an experience that Feltch-Malohifo’ou says helped her realize many Pacific Island artists “didn’t know any of the mainstream art resources,” the PEAU (Pasifika Enriching Arts of Utah)

Forbes released their first “50 Over 50” list of women who have made an impact, including AAPI women such as Kamala Harris, Miami Marlins manager Kim Ng and journalist May Lee.
50 Over 50: On July 7, Forbes released the compilation of women who are “proving success has no age limits.”
The honorees were chosen from over 10,000 nominees based on three main criteria: achievements after turning 50, their success at scale and women with a pay-it-forward mindset.
Forbes aims to “embody a new movement of women who reject the idea that the most dynamic part of life is the first half” by choosing women who aren’t “letting societal expectations dictate their professional timelines.”
