All the places you can recycle small electricals in Oxfordshire

Small electrical items can once again be recycled at some Oxfordshire libraries You can once again donate electrical goods to be repaired or reused at some Oxfordshire libraries.  Oxfordshire County Council has restarted the scheme, which was suspended while libraries were operating a click-and-collect service only. Drop-off points for unwanted small electrical items in good condition are available in Banbury, Bicester, Witney, Oxfordshire County Library in the Westgate Centre, Cowley and Blackbird Leys. A crate will be provided at the library entrance. The items will be collected by Bicester Green or Orinoco, two local charities who help reuse and recycle waste.

Libraries will be giving residents a warm welcome back when they re-open their doors on Monday. Oxfordshire County Council is planning a phased approach to the re-opening of libraries and will be maintaining safety measures including track and trace, use of face coverings and social distancing. Since the November lockdown, all loans have been extended on a rolling basis and this will end on May 10, at which point all loans will be due for return or renewal. Items can be returned in the returns boxes at the doors of any library during opening hours. No library customers will be penalised as a result of having to self-isolate or being unable to travel to return library loans.
