The Waterloo Region District School Board announced Monday afternoon that two schools, one in New Hamburg, one in Baden, would be closing early because of a power outage.
Waterloo Region Public Health has declared COVID-19 outbreaks in 19 schools in the region. A spokesperson for the Waterloo District School Board said nine outbreaks they reported Monday were from cases before the holidays.
