Stock markets have had a tremendous run following the Covid-19 induced market crash in March last year. The S&P500 has grown more than 87% while the Nasdaq was up 105% since then, setting new records weekly. Understandably investors are getting nervous about an impending market correction and not a week goes by without macro economists predicting the next crash. A hotly contested debate amongst investment professionals and retail investors is whether one should make use of an active portfolio manager to manage your investment portfolio or rather go it alone by investing in passively managed Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
