Nicholas Dominici s dad said he had hoped to have a photo of his son s kindergarten graduation four years from now. Defendants Grei Mendez, the operator of the day care center, and Carlisto Acevedo Brito entered their pleas in a Bronx courtroom, in answer to the charges stemming from a case prosecutors said "shocked the conscience" of New York City.
