As we were having conversations about companies who have seemingly done really well at previous IPCPR/PCA Conventions & Trade Shows, Oscar Valladares is a name that kept coming to mind. The Honduran cigar maker came to fame with his Leaf by Oscar line made for “Island” Jim Robinson, but has since launched several of his own projects to warm receptions by many cigar retailers. He continues to expand his growing and production operations as well, giving him both more raw materials and more capacity to develop and release more cigars.
While Oscar Valladares’ portfolio continues to grow, his booth space this year was more or less the same as in years past. A respectable space with several display cabinets showing off the company’s current offerings, and seating areas for retailers while they place their orders after seeing what is lacking from their shelves.
