The Anambra State Police Command has said that its Special Crack Squad deployed to the Ihiala area of the state weeks before Christmas, foiled an armed robbery operation and killed one of the armed hoodlums. The Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, who made this known in a statement issued on Monday, said that the Special Crack Squad’s encounter with the gunmen occurred on the night of January 12, 2024, as the armed hoodlums attempted to rob a middle-aged man of his vehicle at Ubiahuikwem, Ihiala.
