The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) has recorded more than 50,000 passengers from various ports of the country during the Easter Sunday alone.
Of the figure, the PCG said a total of 29,061of them were outbound passengers while 24,021 were inbound passengers.
In a statement, the PCG said that compared to the consolidated report on Black Saturday, April 3, the number of outbound passengers decreased by 2,723, while the number of inbound passengers increased by 3,890.
