A recent charcoal shipment at a California facility from Mexico was discovered to be hiding more than $1 million worth of methamphetamine, U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced Monday.
Officers found over a million dollars worth of drugs hidden within a shipment of charcoal on Thursday, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a release Monday.
Authorities confiscated nearly 50 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in an ice chest of fish earlier this week at the Southern border in California, federal officials said.
