Brown County Sheriff's Report – Feb. 1

On Monday, Jan, 25, at approximately 6:02 p.m. Deputy Nicolas A. Wood, was notified of an accident involving a golf cart with injuries, which occurred on Cutter Circle near Harbor Drive in Brownwood. On Thursday, Jan. 28 Deputy Saydie Bradley spoke with an individual at the Sheriff’s Office about her identity being stolen. A report was made. On Friday, Jan. 29 at about 10:19 a.m. Deputy Marvin Simpson responded to CR 321. This was in regards to a theft, which had already occurred. Upon arriving on scene, Deputy Simpson spoke with the victim and a witness. Deputy Simpson was advised by the victim she believed a suspect had stolen a receiver hitch from her on Dec. 24. The victim asked for a criminal trespass warning to be issued on the suspect. Deputy Simpson interviewed the suspect in regard to the theft. The suspect denied the theft and the suspect was issued the trespass warning. A report was made.
