Family members of the late Yoruba Nollywood actress, Mrs Folakemi Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi, has denied the viral reports linking her death and that the death of her siblings to COVID19 complications.
Reports have gone viral on social media platforms that Orisabunmi contracted COVID19 at an event where a popular gospel artiste, Esther Igbekele, performed in Ibadan, Oyo State in December. The rumour mill added that Orisabunmi later infected other family members.
Describing the rumour as unfounded and a calculated attempt by fourth columnists to denigrate the late actress and her siblings, the family warned that fact of the matter should be obtained before going to press.
