OnePlus will reportedly host a physical launch event on January 5 during CES 2022 in Las Vegas. However, it is unclear if OnePlus will debut the OnePlus 10 series smartphones or a new device entirely. This may be OnePlus first launch event during CES.
OnePlus 10 Pro specifications have been spotted online, suggesting that the upcoming smartphone could feature significant upgrades over this year’s OnePlus 9 Pro on the processor, battery, and selfie camera. The handset is tipped to feature the unannounced Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a 5,000mAh battery, and 48-megapixel triple rear cameras, plus a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Other specs include up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with an IP68 rating.
OnePlus 10 Pro case renders have surfaced online, showing a large square-shaped rear camera module, which was tipped by previous renders of the upcoming smartphone. The handset could feature volume rockers on the left spine and the power button and alert sliders on the right spine. Based on previous OnePlus 10 Pro leaks, the handset is tipped to sport a triple camera setup and retain OnePlus 9 Pro’s zoom capabilities.
