Abia Warriors head coach, Imama Amapakabo, could be the first coach to be shown the exit door in the 2020/21 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League, depending on the outcome of his match-day seven clash with high-flying Lobi Stars on Sunday (today).
The former Enugu Rangers tactician was handed a three-match ultimatum by the club’s management, following a poor start to the season, where Warriors recorded four defeats in their opening four games.
Since the ultimatum, Imama had gone on to draw two consecutive matches against Ifeanyi Ubah and MFM, playing 1-1 and 0-0 respectively.
Saturday s contribution was the third time the former MFM FC striker had come to the rescue of Oswald Tanchot s side, having previously scored match-winning goals in their league games against Dunkerque and Grenoble Foot 38.

In addition to his contribution, all three of Odey’s goals have come at the Stade de la Licorne.
The 23-year-old, who was the second top scorer in the 2016-17 Nigeria Professional Football League season with 18 goals, behind former Lobi Stars striker Anthony Okpotu (19 goals), is currently on a season-long loan from Belgian First Division A club Genk.
