Financial terms of the deal between OWC in Woodstock, Ill. and LumaForge in Burbank were not disclosed.
Larry O’Connor, chief executive of OWC, said the acquisition strengthens its enterprise and server storage capabilities and enables an even broader lineup of solutions for video, photographic and music professionals.
“Jellyfish and LumaForge customers will continue receiving the support and development, while this trusted technology will flourish and have a whole new level of support and engagement within the OWC family,” O’Connor said in a statement.
LumaForge Chief Executive Josh Minney said that OWC’s commitment to solving problems and putting customers first aligns with the values of his company.
