NURSERY youngsters and staff were all smiles as they pulled off an amazing fundraising stint for Children in Need and some new friends in Africa. Supporters of the six Mulberry Bush nurseries across the borough didn t let the pandemic dull their dedication to collecting cash for Pudsey the Bear. The charity champions will split their generosity with The Good Life Orphanage, a children s centre project in Mombasa, Kenya, which Mulberry Bush has supported since 2008. And after a host of colourful activities, their combined efforts resulted in a £6,623 bounty for the annual charity appeal and the orphanage. Nursery director Paul Robinson said: “We are extremely proud to support these wonderful charities and with the help of our extremely generous families and team members we’ve managed to smash our original target of £4,000.
