The body in charge of redeveloping Old Oak Common in west London has launched a public consultation on its scaled-back plan.
The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) has launched a seven-week public consultation on the new plans, which have been given the green light by the Planning Inspectorate.
According to the OPDC, “much of the local plan hasn’t changed”, but it now omits land owned by Cargiant after the inspectorate ordered it to be removed following a challenge by the second-hand car retailer.
The new plans, which were resubmitted in March, will see the construction of more than 25,000 homes, as well as a new urban centre.

A revised plan has been submitted to build a new urban district around a new major transport hub in Old Oak Common.
The mayor’s Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) has submitted a revised draft local plan to build more than 25,000 new homes and bring thousands of new jobs to the area with a focus on public land around the High Speed 2 (HS2) station at Old Oak Common.
The major transport hub is the only place where HS2, Elizabeth Line and Great Western Railway services will meet.
