An Enchanting, Reimagined Coach House in London Asks £2M

An Enchanting, Reimagined Coach House in London Asks £2M Near Kew Gardens, a four-bedroom residence designed by TDO Architecture blends heritage and industrial details. An elegant home designed by TDO Architecture has hit the market in southwestern London near Twickenham and Kew Gardens. The three-story residence occupies the site of a former coach house, or travelers’ inn, within St. Margaret’s Trust Grounds, a coveted, Victorian-era garden suburb. The delightful interior features a mix of traditional and modern styles, placing playful pops of color alongside rich wood finishes. Completed in 2019, this home by London’s TDO Architecture picks up on the local vernacular with a stately brick facade set behind a traditional courtyard entrance. Crittall steel-framed glass doors along the lower level set the stage for industrial-style finishes throughout the interior.

Rapid covid testing for those with NO symptoms rolled-out

Richmond Council has extended their rapid testing programme – to include people who are not experiencing symptoms or are asymptomatic. Essential workers, volunteers and carers for vulnerable people are eligible for the tests, as well as those who need regular reassurance that they don’t have COVID-19. Lateral flow devices (LFDs) are one of the latest tools being used to detect COVID-19. The rapid turnaround tests give results in under an hour, without the need for laboratory processing. Over the past few weeks, residents in the borough’s wards with the highest rates of new cases of COVID-19 were able to have a rapid test.

Tiers...but it's not all tears by Fergus Briston, Hampton School

There will be no New Year parties with everyone holding hands and singing ‘Auld Lang Syne’ or the countdown and firework parades that pervade the streets, bringing communities together in our metropolis. With the majority of the nation in Tier 4, celebrations will be at home and solely with those we live with. It is a tough end to a tough year. For many people though, 2020 has highlighted the value of family and neighbours, and it has revealed the importance of being local, whether it is shopping or exercising.    Two of Richmond Borough’s main parks - Richmond and Bushy Park - have become consistently packed with people appreciating the beauty of the historical parkland. There are over 100 parks and open spaces in Richmond upon Thames and 21 miles (34 km) of river frontage. Equally, 140 hectares within the borough are designated as part of the Metropolitan Green Belt. There are abundant opportunities to play sport for free with Old Deer Park and
