The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, OYC, on Saturday, disowned a purported empowerment meeting billed to hold today, in Nsukka, Enugu State.
DAILY POST reports that a video in circulation had invited youths to a programme today, Saturday 13th March, 2021, at Adada Hall, Nsukka, Enugu State, by a group that calls itself Ohaneze Youth Council, Enugu North Senatorial Zone.
But reacting, the President-General of OYC, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike urged the youths to be careful of fraudsters as there was nothing like Senatorial zone in Ohanaeze structure.
He said the same people behind the fake empowerment meeting carried out the same exercise in Abakaliki some time in the past, but ended up deceiving the people.
