Teams from Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Carson City Search and Rescue, and Washoe County Sheriff’s Office successfully rescued an individual stuck in the snow in the hills between Goni Road and the Virginia Foothills Friday morning.
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff s deputies were called late this afternoon to a rollover crash in the area of Goni Road and Maxwell. According to dispatch the vehicle was a SUV that overturned several times. Arriving fire department personnel said the driver was not injured.
A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Thursday in the area of West Winnie Lane and North Division for suspicion of DUI and speeding, a sheriff s deputy report said.
