Did you guys know that Drew Brees and Nick Foles attended the same high school?!?

Certainly, Carson Wentz and the Eagles receivers had dreadful seasons, which contributed to the Eagles horrendous offensive production, but in addition to poor play, the passing scheme was disjointed and it lacked creativity. Scangarello and Mornhinweg won t be back in 2021. Who will join them?
The two main issues likely to be discussed between Pederson are Lurie are the future of Carson Wentz in Philadelphia, and how Pederson intends on formulating his coaching staff.
• It was recently reported by Chris Mortensen of ESPN that the relationship between Pederson and Wentz is fractured. If Lurie and Howie Roseman intend on having Wentz back in 2021, or if Roseman can t find suitable trade compensation to make it worth taking on the massive cap hit that would accompany a Wentz trade, Pederson will have to convince Lurie that he and Wentz can flourish together once again.
Yikes.
Question from Shablagoo: Do you think the Eagles cap situation and bad roster played a role in Lurie not cleaning house considering that all the other openings are looking to be more interesting for potential head coaches and general managers?
If you re a prospective GM hire and you re afforded the time it will take to tear the roster down completely, and then rebuild from scratch, you would have a fair amount of long-term job security right off the bat. In that sense, it s actually an appealing job, in my view.
However, I do not think the head coaching job is appealing,
Why now? Why would Jeffrey Lurie still have questions about Doug Pederson's direction of the team going forward, a full week after the season ended, and two weeks after the team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention? One possibility is that the Eagles could perhaps be looking to "trade" Pederson for draft pick compensation.
Still, Buffalo is rolling. They have won six straight games, by a total combined score of 229-110. Even in Week 17, when they pulled their starters about halfway through the game, they managed to 50-burger a Dolphins team that was playing for the playoff lives. The Bills should continue to ride that momentum into the postseason.
From an Eagles perspective, this is a very interesting game to watch, in that the Colts are the team that makes the most sense as a potential Carson Wentz landing spot this offseason. If they are bounced in the first round as a result of poor quarterback play, the Eagles will have a better chance of maximizing their return for Wentz.
