A new mum from Mali is getting accustomed to not one newborn in her home but nine after doctors missed some of her babies in routine scans.
25-year-old Halima Cisse was expecting seven babies but when she went to deliver by C-section, doctors were astounded to find she was carrying nine!
The case is a world record multiple birth after ‘octomum’ Nadya Suleman gave birth to eight children in 2009.
Halima now has five daughters and four sons who are all said to be ‘doing fine.’

Sophie told The Sun: “It’s got to be a record. It was so quick and so unexpected I couldn’t believe it.
“One minute I was texting my friend the next I was holding Millie in my arms. There was literally one push in it that’s all.”
