New Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney T. Wright Barksdale takes the oath of office from Judge Brenda H. Trammell on Wednesday in Jones County. GRAY, Ga. — T. Wright Barksdale III officially became the youngest district attorney in Georgia on Wednesday afternoon.  The 33-year-old Barksdale, a native of Washington County, but who lives in Jones County with his wife, Katie, and their three children, was sworn into office by Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Brenda H. Trammell during a special ceremony held in the Jones County courtroom. “It is a pleasure to swear to him in, and I’m very excited to do so,” said Trammell in her opening comments to a courtroom of family and law enforcement officials from throughout the eight-county judicial circuit.

Bradley sworn in as newest judge of Superior Court
