On Sunday, a new walk-up vaccination site will open in San Diego s North County at the North Coastal Live Well Center, 3708 Ocean Ranch Blvd. in Oceanside. The site is open Sunday - Thursday from 9:30am - 3:30pm, with up to 500 COVID-19 vaccination appointments daily for healthcare workers and those 75 and older.
San Diego County recorded 79 COVID-19 related deaths on Friday, which surpasses the previous record of 65 deaths on a single day. San Diego residents are encouraged to get the vaccine as soon as you are eligible. Current eligibility list available here.
