this week on the communicators we want to get the issue of political communications especially social media. joining us this week or two employees of facebook, katie while harback and konar. what do you do it facebook? along with katie my colleague here our job is to evangelize for the adoption of facebook among some key constituencies. government officials both in the agency s i am also elected officials member of congress, governors, state legislatures, but also political candidates and third-party groups, said the obama campaign, the romney campaign, the political committees and also some of the prominent groups you are hearing about whether they are the supertax or the move on of the world, and facebook is a pretty unique thing. it s a mobile devices and applications and all sorts of things. so our job is to help folks in washington and the political world navigate that and how to use this technology to winning elections and communicate with constituents and voters.

gathering at 9:00 this morning on capitol hill. we expect the crowd will get larger. we want to show you a live picture from up above par you can see the crowd gathering. that is part of the crowd on the west lawn. the protesters were trying to get inside to speak one-on-one with legislators. the crowd of dozens turned into hundreds within minutes and did not take long for the protesters to lash o at u.s. capitol police. with the chanting growing louder and more angry, police moved in with barriers. i am tired of the government stepping on the people. rowdy demonstration even turned on each other. these women stopped a man from trying to tear down the fans. this newest movement is specifically targeting congress was strategically started today when legislators return to work for a new session. this is hours after a new news poll says 84% of americans disapproved of the job congress is doing. i have been occupying in hartford, conn. we are still organizing and planning
funnel clouds. we ve seen them in stafford county and charles county. we may have had a tornado touch down in quantico that was seen by the observer. prince george s county saw funnels and howard county. we have not heard many reports of damage. this have been some downed trees and limbs but again this threat continues. gary, we have been watching true view very closely. yeah. most of that the funnel clouds and potential tornadoes that we got a lot of pictures of really came from one storm. we do have more storms now out there, most of it down to the south of the metro area but still creeping up to our direction. not everyone has seen the rain. i think the nats may have gotten in most of the game with a few delays, but where these storms have been they have been dangerous and rotating and they are connected to a much larger system, which we ll get to in a moment, but first let s get a closer look at the tornado warning now in effect for culpeper county till 10:15 and also
