The special sitting was held despite a court order that reinstated the speaker.
Nyandarua County Assembly Speaker Ndegwa Wahome has been impeached for the third time.
Wahome was voted out over gross misconduct, abuse of office and nepotism in a special sitting held on Saturday.
31 out of the 38 ward representatives supported the impeachment motion while six opposed and one abstained.
The special sitting was held despite an order by Nakuru High Court Judge Hillary Chemitei reinstating Wahome until a case he had filed against his removal was heard and determined.
Reading out the charges, the mover of the motion, Majority Leader Edinard Kingori, accused Wahome of favouritism in assembly functions.

It is all systems go as county assemblies across the country debate the Constitution of Kenya (Amendment) Bill, 2020.
The Bill has already surpassed the constitutional threshold of at least 24 counties. This means it will now move to the Senate and National Assembly whose voting is mainly ceremonial because whether they approve it or not, it will still end up at the referendum level here voters have the final say on its fate.
At least 21 counties are expected to debate the Bill today, in what is looking to be a ‘Super Tuesday’.
By 10.30am, Narok and Kakamega County assemblies had unanimously passed the BBI Bill, raising the number of counties that have voted yes to 28.

There was chaos at the Nyandarua County Assembly on Tuesday afternoon after a group of men wearing black suits stormed the chambers and tried to steal the Speaker s Mace.
The raid is reported to have occurred barely two hours after MCAs unanimously passed the Constitution Amendment Bill 2020.
The group of five heavily -built men are said to have tried to take away the mace leading to a fistfight between two factions allied to impeached Speaker Ndegwa Wahome and Governor Francis Kimemia.
MCAs allied to Wahome did not take kindly the court ruling that confirmed his impeachment hence tried to stop the assembly’s proceedings by hiring the men in black.
