him. this report came out in 2011. while it did say there wasn t evidence that daniel craig violated federal conflict of interest laws, that was the original catalyst for the investigation, it did substantiate that he had falsified records in terms of a travel voucher he submitted to the government as well as hours he had reported. now, craig says that he that the investigators did not take into account all of the information they should have, that there were parts of the report that were incorrect. but when i contacted him about the report s finding, he said he was withdrawing his nomination. is he withdrawing because he just doesn t want additional scrutiny, he doesn t want this to be a distraction for the administration? if he claims he did nothing wrong, then why withdraw his name? sdl that s a very good question. he said that he was withdrawing his nomination because he didn t
