SRINAGAR: Former Congress Minister Taj Mohiuddin, along with two others, have been charged with cheating by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. They are accused of defrauding an individual by promising him ownership of a 72ftx30ft plot of land in the village of Nandani, Jammu.
A political stalwart of J&K, Taj Mohiuddin is already booked by the Central Bureau of Investigation for allegedly encroaching on a huge chunk of forest land.
