BELGRADE (Serbia), April 14 (SeeNews) – Serbia plans to launch the construction of the Fruskogorski Corridor road next month, the president of the northern autonomous province of Vojvodina, Igor Mirovic said. Everything is ready for the construction of the Fruskogorski Corridor and in the first days of May we expect the official start of works on the implementation of this large and important infrastructure project, Mirovic said earlier this week, according to a statement by the Vojvodina government.
The Vojvodina government has issued a permit for setting up a construction camp for the project, Mirovic said after a meeting with Serbia s infrastructure minister Tomislav Momirovic.

BELGRADE (Serbia), December 10 (SeeNews) – Serbia plans to launch the construction of the Fruskogorski Corridor road in the first quarter of 2021, prime minister Ana Brnabic said.
The government also intends to launch the reconstruction of the Novi Sad-Subotica section of the railway line linking Belgrade to Hungary s capital Budapest in the first quarter, Brnabic said in a statement on Wednesday.
The draft state budget for 2021 envisages record-high capital investments despite the coronavirus crisis, Brnabic said in parliament.
Capital investments are planned at 273.9 billion dinars ($2.8 billion/2.3 billion euro), or 18.08% of total expenditures, the government s draft budget for next year shows.
