Could NFL Draft 'Riser' LB Still Slip To Dallas Cowboys? - FanNation Dallas Cowboys News, Analysis and More

Apr 18, 2021 The word surrounding the Washington Football Team, holding the No. 19 pick in the April 29 NFL Draft, is largely about linebacker. We ve talked a great deal about Notre Dame s Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah landing there. What is the attraction for the two NFC East rivals, not to mention the rest of the NFL? Built like a brick and chiseled to the core, there s no denying that Davis has the intangibles to be a top-notch centerpiece for any defense. A three-down thumper with good speed to play in coverage, the 6-foot-3 defender could be ready to roll into a starting lineup right away.

2021 NFL mock draft news: Eagles looking to make another Round 1 trade

Saturday, April 17: Eagles looking to deal again? The Philadelphia Eagles already traded a first-round pick once during this draft cycle. There’s reason to think they might again. That’s according to The Athletic’s Ben Standig, who spoke with general managers, executives, agents and other league sources for his pre-draft notes column. The Eagles last month dropped from No. 6 to No. 12 after a trade with the Dolphins, who sent the No. 3 pick to the quarterback-seeking 49ers. Sitting at No. 12 likely puts Philadelphia in position to select one of the top three wide receiver prospects with Alabama’s DeVonta Smith the best bet to fall outside the top 10. That’s also a spot where South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn might seem attractive for Eagles general manager Howie Roseman. By moving up, the Eagles could land a higher-rated player at each position.
