Papa Gino’s delivers free pizza to Norwell Fire Department

Papa Gino’s recently delivered free pizza to the Norwell Fire Department.
The donation was part of Papa Gino’s Pizza My Heart program in which Papa Gino’s seeks out community heroes and delivers them free pizza as a sign of appreciation for the work they do in the community.
From the start of the programs in 2020 until the end of June 2021, Papa Gino’s gave away 1,456 extra-large pizzas to 186 organizations.
Recipients are chosen through nominations from community members across New England.

In a tweet, the Norwell Fire Department said the fire was contained to (a) large commercial dust collector and associated ductwork.
Fire Chief Jeff Simpson said the department was alerted about the fire shortly before 9.p.m. The fire started near the industrial processors of the manufacturing plant and triggered the warehouse s sprinklers. The dust collector, where the fire started, is about the size of a fire truck, Simpson said.
