SMITHVILLE Students in six area middle schools participated in the annual Tri-County Junior Academic Challenge (J.A.C.) held on Wednesday evening, April 14 at Green Middle School.
Lori Ebert, Green Middle School J.A.C. coach, served as the on-site host for this event. Michelle Muro, Tri-County ESC Fine Art Consultant, served as coordinator.
Participating schools included Edgewood Middle School, Green Middle School, John R. Lea Middle School, Loudonville Junior High, Norwayne Middle School and Orrville Middle School.
Each team played a total of five rounds.
Taking first place was Green Middle School.
The second place team was John R. Lea Middle School from Southeast Local and the third place winner was Orrville Middle School.
