UPPER THUMB Establishments in the Upper Thumb that received loans from the Paycheck Protection Program this year benefitted greatly from them as their business fluctuated this year.
The Paycheck Protection Program is run by the Small Business Administration and provided loans to businesses to help keep them open and Americans employed during the coronavirus pandemic. The loans ranged from around $150,000 upwards to $10 million and were open to applications up until Aug. 8.

UPPER THUMB – Through the power of endowments, strong community partnerships, and generous donors from across the Upper Thumb, the Huron County Community Foundation was able to give back a record high number of dollars to the community, helping many individuals and organizations through the pandemic.
