I look at the magnitude of this whole thing. So we re not talking about a governor, we re not talking about a congressman, we re not talking about a state senator. We re talking about the President of the United States. So we felt it was appropriate to go a little bit above and beyond, Gaughan said. We wanted to make a permanent change. In my opinion, you can t be afraid to be a part of something different, to change something, and any time you change anything in the city of Scranton, or anywhere in our area, people obviously, understandably, get upset. We can t be afraid to change. We have to look at this as a positive thing and not a negative thing. There s going to be a little bit of an inconvenience for the small business owners, we re going to try to work with them, but I think, in the long run, there s going to be a net benefit, said Gaughan. The committee felt that this is going to bring people from all over the state, and potentially the country who want to come, from a
