IMD weather forecast: Several states including Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and others will receive possible rainfall till May 31.
Only isolated places may receive heavy rainfall and that too for short duration as compared to the previous system which caused deluge over Madhya Pradesh, this feature will not be harsh enough to disrupt normal activities.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday informed that a deep depression over northwest Chhattisgarh, adjoining Madhya Pradesh and southeast Uttar Pradesh has weakened into a depression.
According to IMD’s latest forecast, many states are expected to experience showers throughout the course of the following two days, ranging from light sprinkles to severe to extremely heavy rainfall events.
Another spell of rain is possible over parts of East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, North Odisha and West Bengal between February 9 and 10. Two successive Western Disturbances are expected to approach the Western Himalayas, with one reaching on February 6th and another on February 8 or 9.
