CAPE TOWN - Police in Bishop Lavis are seeking the public s assistance in their search for a missing 15-year-old girl from Elsies River.
Linda Soboyce was last seen on Wednesday afternoon when she left to attend a party in Valhalla Park.
The teen never made it back home.
The police s Noloyiso Rwexana: According to information, Linda was last seen on the 28th of April at about 4.30pm when she left home to go and attend a party in Valhalla Park. She never returned home. At the time of her disappearance, Linda was wearing a white vest, black jacket and blue jeans with red and silver takkies.

CAPE TOWN - A security guard has been stabbed during a business robbery at a grocery store in Parow.
Police said that five unidentified armed suspects stormed the local store on Monday morning.
Police officers said that the group fled the scene and that no arrests have been made. The men were armed and fled with an undisclosed amount of money. During the incident one of the security guards was stabbed, police spokesperson Noloyiso Rwexana said.
Philippi cultural centre burgled by criminals for fourth time since October

Cape Town - A recently opened cultural centre in Philippi has been burgled once again, the fourth since October.
The centre was established by a group of youngsters out of desperation to express themselves artistically in the comfort of their neighbourhood, while hoping to transform the mindset towards artistic careers held by their parents.
Philippi Arts Centre Project manager Lulama Noboza said the criminals gained access by bending a burglar bar in the theatre space. They made off with two computer screens, three power cables, three keyboards, three mouses, VGA cables, extensions and cables.

Cape Town - The Western Cape’s acting Police Commissioner Thembisile Patekile has commended the police for their continuous efforts in confiscating illegal firearms and ammunition from potentially violent criminals.
This after various police crime prevention units across the Metro saw a bounty of illegal firearms and ammunition get taken off the streets and back into police custody.
According to a police statement at the weekend, officers confiscated five illegal firearms, ammunition and apprehended several suspects for the possession of the destructive weapons.
Police spokesperson Noloyiso Rwexana said weekend police operations resulted in the removal of five unlicensed firearms and ammunition from communities in Steenberg, Parow, Samora Machel, Elsies River, and Kraaifontein.
A man was shot after five suspects drove up to him, with one getting out of the vehicle and opening fire on the victim. He tried run, but the suspects chased him, shooting him multiple times.
