ISLA VISTA, Calif.- The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office has identified the young man killed from a cliff fall on Saturday afternoon in Isla Vista.
As part of a plan to prevent people from falling off the cliffs near the University of California campus in Santa Barbara, fences will be raised to 6 feet.
The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to increase the fence height requirement along the Isla Vista Bluffs to 6 feet.
