Filip Hrgovic is set on forcing an IBF mandatory challenge against heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.
Hrgovic’s promoter Nisse Sauerland was speaking to Sky Sports ahead of the Croatian s fight with Michael Hunter in an IBF eliminator.
Joshua holds three major belts - the IBF, WBA and WBO - while Fury will bring the WBC championship to any fight to decide the undisputed heavyweight championship.
Once that fight is settled there could be a match-up with Oleksandr Usyk on the cards, assuming he defeats Joe Joyce when the pair meet.
Sauerland feels that Joshua would be the better fighter to face off with for his client.
