Seven more coronavirus patients die at Nishtar Hospital

MULTAN: Seven more coronavirus patients died at Nishtar Hospital Multan on Thursday. According to hospital officials, Farah Naaz, 50, Muhammad Bashir 57, Zara Asad, 26, Quratul Aien, 35, Ghulam Sarwar, 70, Mukhtar Bibi, 85 all of Multan and Sardar Muhammad, 70 of Vehari, were tested positive for the virus and were brought to the hospital and during treatment they died.
They said 237 confirmed and suspects of coronavirus patients are under treatment at Nishtar Hospital. Reportedly, 255 people had tested positive for coronavirus in Multan division during the last 24 hours out of 2,561 people. In Multan district out of 1,357 people some 200 people were tested positive for the virus.

MULTAN: Six more coronavirus patients died at Nishtar Hospital, Multan, during the last 24 hours.
According to Nishtar Hospital officials, Naziran Bibi, 60, Najma Bibi, 74, Javed Akhtar, 56 and Musarat Bibi, 25, all of Multan, Shamim Bibi, 45, of Khanewal and Zareena Kosar, 55, of Lodhran. Reportedly, 278 coronavirus patients are getting treatment at Nishtar Hospital. According to hospital statistics, some 138 coronavirus patients had died at Nishtar Hospital during the last 27 days.
The hospitals in Multan division are waiting the reports of coronavirus tests of 10, 296 people. In Multan district some 192 people were tested positive out of 1,161 people and reports of 5, 068 people were being awaited. Some 17 people have tested positive for the virus in Khanewal district out of 30 people and reports of 188 people were being awaited. Girl injured after slipping into threshing machine

MUZAFFARGARH: An eight-year-old girl was critically injured after slipping into a paddy threshing machine in a Kot Addu village on Tuesday. The victim identified as Fatima was rushed to the Tehsil hospital from where the medic referred her to Nishtar Hospital Multan following critical condition. According to rescuers, the girl was standing alongside of the machine during wheat harvesting. All of sudden, her hairs stuck in the belt of the threshing equipment. As a result, the hairs separated off with scalp skin, making her critically wounded. She was declared in dangerous condition of health, the hospital sources said.
Call to treat corona patients in Vehari dist hospitals

BUREWALA: Corona patients are not being treated in government hospitals in Vehari district and not a single Corona isolation ward is functional in Vehari district hospitals till filling of the report, The News learnt here on Sunday.
The corona patients are being referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan and Bahawal Victoria Hospital Bahawalpur and ventilators at local hospitals are not available to serious patients. Corona patients are being advised to be quarantined at home.
