Registration starts June 13 for the popular Keiki Tilapia Fishing Tournament, presented by Hawaiian Electric, Kā‘anapali Golf Courses, and Maui United Way.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of each Hula Badger beer was designated to benefit Maui United Way’s initiatives, which strive to address critical needs and promote the well-being of individuals and families across Maui County.
“Our goal is to provide high-quality, hands-on experience to the next generation of engineers while also addressing the shortage of skilled workers in the industry and providing a path for Maui Youth to stay home,” said Rich Sato, executive director of the Maui Facilities and Engineering Leadership Council.
Hawaiian Telcom ran their annual campaign with the employees contributing $2,843 and Hawaiian Telcom adding $10,500 to bring it to a total of $13,343 for Maui United Way’s 2022-2023 campaign.
