PCA 2021: Perdomo

PCA 2021: Perdomo The Perdomo booth has been memorable for a number of years now. First, it was because of the massive drum set that Nick Perdomo Jr. would sit down and play randomly throughout the day, which could be heard across the entire show floor. Next, in 2017, it was the large LED video boards on the front of their booth and on a circular display hanging above the booth. This year is different. Much different. That’s not to say the booth isn’t nice, it is. The layout is well-designed, to the point and it really focuses on the cigars. Many manufacturers downsized their booths this year, so I guess even seeing Perdomo downsize shouldn’t surprise me. I caught them during lunchtime, so most everybody was off to the food court to grab a bite. That worked well for me as I was able to grab some time with Ralph Valdes, national sales manager, who showed me around the booth.

“ We are excited to be attending our 25th year at the trade show,” states Nick Perdomo. “ It will be great to see our customers and get life back to normal. We are shipping punctually; we have great stocks of well-aged Perdomo cigars, and we are ready to continue supporting and supplying our retail partners worldwide.” Perdomo will be at booth # 1814 showcasing their newest releases including the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Sun Grown and Maduro, as well as the larger ring-gauge Perdomo Inmenso Seventy. The Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box Pressed Sun Grown and Maduro are blended with 6-year aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos and are packaged in stunning 25-count boxes in the following sizes: Figurado (4 3/4 x 56), Robusto (5 x 54), Epicure (6 x 54), Torpedo (7 x 54), Churchill (7 x 54), and Super Toro (6 x 60). The manufacturer’s suggested retail prices are $7.25 to $9.75 per cigar, excluding state and local taxes.
