The Maine faithful were out in force on Saturday, Sept. 30 when the Pine Tree State-bred freshmen battled for bragging rights in the $200,000-plus Maine Sire Stakes finals for two-year-olds on the closing day of the iconic Cumberland Fair.
Once again, First Tracks Cumberland welcomes the $200,000-plus Maine Sire Stakes for two-year-old Pine Tree State-bred harness horses on Saturday, Sept. 30, being held on the final day of the 151st Cumberland Fair.
Enhance Yourcalm N made a third consecutive jump in class and this week to the top level, $25,000 Winners-Over Handicap featured trot. But despite the tougher company, the results remained the same as Enhance Yourcalm N won again on Thursday (Sept. 28) to remain undefeated at Plainridge Park.
Trainer Mark Eaton had his charges ready to roll on Tuesday (Sept. 19) at Plainridge Park and watched all three of his entries visit the winner’s circle. The most notable victory came in the $25,000 Winners-Over Handicap pacing feature that Skyway Victor won in the shadow of the wire
