SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Monday s fire in the meadow behind Motel 6 in South Lake Tahoe is being investigated as arson by the South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD). On July 3 at 9:25 a.m., South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue, U.S. Forest Service, and CAL FIRE Amador-El Dorado Unit responded to the wildfire.
10AM UPDATE 7/3: The South Lake Tahoe Police Department (SLTPD) said Tanner Delacruz, 33, of South Lake Tahoe, was arrested by their SWAT team after refusing to surrender. They said over the past couple of weeks, SLTPD had been called to the 1200 block of Margaret Ave. on multiple occasions for Delacruz acting in violent and erratic behavior.
