3 our top story this morning the results are in, from the first real vote of the president ial election season. The count from the Iowa Caucuses. Had some pretty surprisng results. First up. On the republican side. 3 ted cruz is the big winner. With 99 percent of precincts reporting. Cruz took 28 percent of the vote, compared to 24 percent for donald trump. And look whos in third place. Marco rubio. He finished just one percent behind trump. A lot of people saying rubio was also a big winner last night. Making himself a real player in this race. No other candidate even got close to these three. Ben carson was in fourth place. With just nine percent. Former Florida Governor jeb bush. Was in sixth place with just three percent of the even on the list. He dropped out of the race last night. 3 3 3 on the democratic side. We are still waiting for a winner. But it might not matter. Both Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have reason to celebrate. 3 even with 99 percent of precincts reporting

The very first votes in this years president ial cycle are being counted right now. And nobody can explain these quirky numbers in Iowa Caucuses better than Craig Patrick.
