The campaign will kick off on Saturday, Jan. 20 with events in Douglas County Headquarters, 1758 U. S. Hwy. 395N Suite K in Minden from noon until 2 p.m.
Derek Morgan, a lifelong independent who is caucusing with the Democrats, declares candidacy for Nevada Assembly District 40. Morgan, pledges to never blindly side with either party and refuses to take corporate donations.
