KATHMANDU, May 17: A new species of bird has been discovered in the Annapurna Conservation Area of Nepal. The Nepalese Ornithological Union n has registered this new species under the name 'White-cheeked Starling'.
Lesser grey shrike (Lanius minor), which is commonly found in South and Central Europe and West Asia, was seen near Shyali River in the second week of May.
