An employee at a Scranton convenience store admitted to a detective she stole nearly $30,000 worth of lottery tickets because she needed cash to cover her bills, authorities said.
A 32-year-old Wayne County man thrown from his vehicle in a crash was stuck and killed Saturday by another driver distracted by the wreck, state police at Honesdale said Monday
